Agriculture
Brownfield works on a local level to connect brands to specific farmer communities. Brownfield is a WIRED network of 600 affiliates who trust us to deliver ag programming farmers want and need. Additionally, Brownfield’s website provides the latest news, markets, feature programming, video and expanded content to farmers and others throughout the ag industry.
Since 1972, Learfield has provided quality programming to more than 600 radio stations throughout the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Our focus: the needs of people in communities throughout the Midwest and the advertisers who serve them.
As ABC and CBS provide world and national news to radio stations across the nation, Learfield News/Ag provides regional and statewide news of interest to affiliated radio stations across the Midwest. We give them great news and agricultural programming and in exchange they give us commercial airtime on their stations that air 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, during radio’s primetime. This allows our affiliated stations to serve their loyal listeners and advertisers in ways that would be difficult or even impossible on their own. Because we barter for the commercial time instead of paying cash, we can help marketers reach the state easily and affordably versus the premium pricing of other options. Simply put, it’s a win-win situation for our stations, listeners and advertisers.
